The creation of common identifiers for texts (authors and works) is planned as a second step, when the integration of manuscript IDs in the various databases participating in the network has been successfully completed. Although some partial lists already exist (Canon of Greek Authors and Works,Clavis Patrum Graecorum, etc..), creating an updated and reliable authority list for authors (and all the more for texts) in order to generate stable common identifiers will require the collaboration of different experts in the field Greek, Byzantine and Neo-Hellenic literature.
